Born at just 24 weeks, Brenna has overcome life-threatening conditions and lives with cerebral palsy and cortical visual impairment. She now needs a specialized surgery in the U.S. — the “Café Door” hip procedure — that can relieve her chronic pain and restore her ability to stand and walk.
Unfortunately, this life-changing surgery and the rehabilitation that follows aren’t covered by Canada’s healthcare system. The total cost is estimated at $100,000 CAD, with $85,000 needed by October 28 to secure the surgery scheduled for November 11.
